Mission Surgery Center
Mission Surgery Center provides a safe and convenient outpatient setting, where patients come in for surgery and leave the same day. Located on the lower campus of Mission Hospital, the Center offers high-quality surgical care in a facility dedicated to outpatient procedures.
Mission Surgery Center has six rooms for operations and procedures, and performs approximately 4,500 surgeries per year. The Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care. The caring staff of Registered Nurses is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Our healthcare team also includes Mission Anesthesia Medical Associates and Physician Partners, who are nationally recognized leaders in their specialties.
Hours
5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Patients who need extended recovery care, up to 23 hours, can have surgery on alternating Tuesdays or Thursdays and Wednesday and receive post- operative care at the facility until the following morning.
